Job Description A Cyber Security Engineer to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) located in Charleston SC.
Assist with updating and maintaining the Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes, policies, and guidance such as the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and AR 25-2 Assist with development, maintenance, and tracking of Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), Certification and accreditation Plan, and Cybersecurity Risk Management Plan (CCRMP) Develop system architecture and interface diagrams; Ports, Protocols, and Services (PP&S) tables; Hardware and Software version descriptions System registration and data entries into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Department of the Navy Application and Database Management System (DADMS) registration Perform security assessments of network devices, Windows servers, Linux servers and appliances Check for and implement security compliance according to STIG guidelines Perform regular system scans and report findings Implement and research system hardening and system updates according to engineering, vendor and DOD procedures Work in an up time oriented production environment Support engineering with information gathering and troubleshooting for system correction, procedure generation, and maintenance Implement cyber security tools such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scanning, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), anti-virus, Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS), system monitoring and logging Support Cybersecurity Test & Evaluation (CS T&E) events Required Education, Experience, & Skills U.

$84689 - $143994 Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures.
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:
business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
