Scout Boats is looking to hire a Production Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be well versed in marine engineering practices, including but not limited to the production environment.
This person must be self-motivated, a team player, and knowledgeable about boatbuildingDaily TasksoSupport the shop floor as necessaryoCreate and revise technical drawings and work instructionsoDetail design using Rhino 3D and AutocadoAssist in development of new product as neededoHelp to maintain an accurate bill of materialsoWork with the team to solve problems using a pragmatic approach to boatbuildingRequirements:
oCompetence with Rhino 3D, Autocad 2D, and Microsoft ExceloGeneral knowledge of - Composites and structural design (ie fabric and resin systems) - Electrical systems (12 VDC and 120/240 VAC) - Plumbing designoStrong problem solving skillsoBasic understanding of manufacturing techniques/ practicesScheduleThis position works Monday - Thursday 7 AM- 5 PM, and Friday 7 AM- 1 PM or as needed to complete tasks.
Must be able to work overtime if needed.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening upon hire.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
