Position
Summary:
As an Agency Director with AIG Financial Network, you will lead a team of both experienced financial services professionals and individuals new to our industry. We accomplish our mission by selling, marketing, and servicing our superior, differentiated insurance products to existing clients and new customers.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Managers and supervises a team of 7-10 Financial Representatives. Works with Managing Director to develop and implement staff business plans to achieve4 sales and persistency objectives.
Assists in the recruiting and selection of career Financial Representatives. Trains newly hired representatives on company culture and business philosophy, instruction on sales/service procedures, products, conservation techniques, codes of conduct, and company policies.
Performs Joint field work. Assists representatives in refining prospecting techniques and setting appointments, Participates in sales calls with representatives. Assists in the closing of sales for insurance products.
Provides customer service to existing clients by responding to customer inquiries, processing requests, and performance periodic insurance reviews to maintain appropriate customer insurance coverage.
Maintains a continuous program of professional/personal development, including, but not limited to knowledge of products, state insurance regulations, and management skills.
Adheres to and enforces all company policies, procedures, including codes of conduct. Provides general supervision tasks, such as coaching, counseling, and leave reporting.
Organizational Structure:
This position reports to a Managing Director based in our Columbia, SC office location. The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
Minimum of two years of successful insurance sales management
Some college preferred. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
A valid state driver's license and reliable insured transportation.
An active state Life/Health Insurance License.
Excellent Communication and listening skills with a positive attitude and the ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner.
Be Detailed-Oriented with excellent time-management, organization and computer skills.
Self-Motivated with the ability to lead and motivate team of dedicated representatives. American International Group, Inc.
